Vejii Holdings (VEJI.C) extends platform to Komo Plant Based Foods, and yanks in revenue

Vejii Holdings (VEJI.C) platform is now accepting online orders for Komo Plant Based Foods frozen plant-based comfort foods throughout Canada.

Komo’s frozen plant-based offerings have done exceedingly well by consumers courtesy of its direct to consumer platform approach launched in Vancouver in March 2021, which makes it a natural addition to Vejii’s platform. Komo will be looking to duplicate the successes they had on the Yotpo platform on the Vejii platform. Customers dropped 190 reviews on Yotpo and over 160 of them were five star rankings.

“We are so pleased that people across Canada can now order Komo plant-based comfort foods. The Vejii platform is a one-stop shop for vegan products and is a great channel for consumers looking for delicious plant-based comfort food to discover the Komo brand,” said William White, CEO for Komo.

Vejii Holdings is a Kelowna B.C. based operator of an online marketplace ShopVejii.com for both the United States and Canada. Along with VeganEssentials.com, their focus is on raising customer awareness and providing access to thousands of alternative plant-based and sustainable living products. They use logistics infrastructure, distribution networks tech, smart lists, reorders features, subscriptions programs and artificial intelligence to improve customer experience.

This company is making money. They’ve achieved record net revenues of $461,000, representing 100% growth for November ending sales compared to the entirety of Q3. Their cost of goods sold for November ended up at $329,000 with a gross margin of 29%.

The company stated in a press release that they’re sure this came about courtesy of them closing the Veg Essentials LLC acquisition, as well as Black Friday and Cyber Monday promos, but also improved return on investment on ad spending, targeted marketing campaigns and the general overall growth of their online presence with brands and marketing agreements. That also includes the distribution gains from their 89,000 Insta followers across their digital platforms @shopvejii and @veganessentials.
