ePlay Digital (EPY.C) is now the newest member in the IPwe Metaverse Smart Pool.
The purpose of the pool is to help leaders in the sapce make innovations available to others in the industry, which can then be built upon. Given that the metaverse’s promise is considerable, and could theoretically be upwards to a $800 billion market by 2024, this makes sense.
“The Metaverse Smart Pool has already attracted 72 members in just three months, an extraordinary feat in the industry. We are incredibly excited to continue to expand our membership while simultaneously observing the metaverse related innovation taking place,” says Lavinia Meliti, global head of business development at IPwe.
Eplay Digital is a mobile game creator and publisher working in sports, e-sports and augmented reality entertainment.
Eplay’s addition is the Klocked Sports World Advanced Metaverse Platform and other ePlay digital intellectual property. The series of games and apps include 7-time NBA champion Robert Horry, comedian Howie Mandel, and Olympic Decathlete Michael Smith. As well as a portfolio of fifteen games included the Klocked app, Howie Go Viral and Big Shot Basketball.
“We are thrilled to be working with IPwe to enable ePlay Digital to protect, democratize, manage risk, and innovate our sports and entertainment worlds with advanced metaverse, web3, and blockchain technologies,” says Trevor Doerksen, CEO of ePlay Digital.
The Ipwe platform offers a respectable balance between innovation and fair return, encouraging adoption while generating revenue on their efforts. Participants can build on innovation at no cost (for small entities) or a low annual cost for larger.
