Victory Square Technologies (VST.C) Launches DiscreetCare, Continues Expansion into Telehealth Market

Victory Square Technologies (VST.C) announced today that it has launched its DiscreetCare platform across the United States, as part of its multi-phase expansion into the rapidly growing telehealth sector.

“By offering a service that is both discreet and convenient, we are providing healthcare solutions to those who until now, have chosen ‘avoidance’ over action when it comes to their overall wellbeing. Koshy adds, “Think of that 20-something who just started losing his hair but is too embarrassed to seek treatment, or that 30-year-old with Erectile Dysfunction (ED) who avoids seeking important medical offerings because the Viagra and Cialis commercials typically show and sell to men who are 20 years older,” stated Binu Koshy, VS Digital Health Vice President of Marketing.

The last time I covered Victory Square was on March 31, 2021, with an article covering the Company’s expansion into Brazil’s telehealth market. However, since then, news related to the Company’s telehealth presence has been sparse. If I am being honest, I almost entirely forget that Victory Square dabbled in the health services market. Regardless, the Company has come out swinging with its latest news release announcing the launch of its DiscreetCare web application.

According to Victory Square’s CEO, Shafin Diamond Tejani, the app is intended to be a one-stop provider for ‘delicate’ medical issues. Furthermore, the app will provide users with treatment and prescriptive medicinal remedies from the convenience and privacy of their mobile device. Additionally, DiscreetCare will offer doctor evaluations, and FDA-approved medications with competitive pricing, which will be received in discreet packaging within 2-4 days.

As someone who struggles with social anxiety, I would rather die than go to my doctor to discuss an embarrassing medical issue. Instead, I choose to delve into the depths of the oh-so-reliable internet. More often than not, no thanks to WebMD and the like, I come to the conclusion that my frequent headaches are actually the result of a brain tumor that will kill me in the next 24 hours. Needless to say, I am a socially inept hypochondriac who would undoubtedly benefit from a service like DiscreetCare.

“Booking an appointment, sitting in a public waiting room and having an awkward face to face conversation are all roadblocks that contribute to the issue of ‘avoidance’ when it comes to individuals seeking treatment for embarrassing awkward or socially stigmatized conditions,” comments DiscreetCare Medical Director, Dr. Jeremy Roebuck.

Phase 1 of DiscreetCare’s initial launch includes Victory Square’s DiscreetCare.com web app, which will focus on treating hair loss, erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, genital herpes, cold sores, acne, and bladder control issues. Phase 2 of DiscreetCare will launch later this year to include at-home testing for STD’s, testosterone and fertility services, and treatment for a broader range of sensitive medical issues. With this in mind, DiscreetCare is an innovative service looking to appeal to those who are too embarrassed to discuss delicate medical issues in person. Personally, I would love to see Victory Square’s DiscreetCare application reach Canada.

Victory Square Technologies’ share price opened at $0.82 today and is currently trading at $0.82 as of 11:36AM ET. The Company’s shares are up 2.50%, indicating that there has been some change following the news.
