A while back esports and sports betting seemed to be a world of limitless potential and market capitalizations of companies operating in the sector reflected that. Now, however, as the logistics and the legalities of running online betting and the utterly profitless of running an esports team have hit home and companies as well as investors are starting to disappear. Is the sector a wash?
