Haivision (HAI.T), a Canadian company providing leading-edge real-time video streaming and network solutions, just unveiled Haivision 260, its ground-breaking critical visual collaboration platform for 21st century extended operations and command and control centres.
Command 360 gives response teams the power to make real-time decisions by centralizing all video, data, communication, and visualization sources into a fully secure multi-site video wall solution.
This new platform is the product of Haivision’s recent acquisition of Haivision MCS, formerly CineMassive Displays.
Command 360 is born from years of advanced visualization experience in critical environments such as combat command centres, global security operation centres, cybersecurity response centres, network operation centres, real-time crime centres and joint emergency response centres. Other Canadian companies in the combat command awareness space include Kwesst Micro Systems (KWE.V).
Rather than being hardware focused, Command 360 remains a software solution that can be rapidly deployed and brought to full operation through an intuitive configuration wizard. After setting up, the system can be operated through an easy-to-use browser-based user interface.
The system allows global enterprises, defense, government, and public safety organizations to seamlessly integrate across different locations with the ability to easily scale according to their needs without any performance impacts.
Command 360 is built to be one of the most secure visual collaboration platforms today meeting both defense-grade and enterprise-grade zero-trust standards and contains more than 100 new security features to protect their data, communications, and operations.
Mirko Wicha, Haivision president & CEO, summed up, “The release of Command 360 is a major milestone for our company. This disruptive platform delivers real-time information to empower informed, mission-critical decisions. Command 360 embodies Haivision’s approach to security, scalability, real-time performance, and unmatched reliability.”
Haivision’s extensive product portfolio also contains other connected cloud and intelligent edge technologies which include cloud video networking, low latency encoding and decoding, real-time video transcoding and mobile live IP video.
At the beginning of the year, the company won its second Technology & Engineering Emmy® Award from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS).
The sought-after award was for Haivision’s excellence in innovation of technologies for the “Management of IP Multicast Video Distribution to Desktops and TVs in News and Media Production Facilities.”
The company’s client list includes Microsoft, NASA and Riot Games as well as 33 corporations ranked in the Fortune 50 list.
The Montreal, Quebec-based company reported $12.76 million CAD in cash as of April 30, 2022, with six-month revenues ending April 30, 2022, totalling $58.22 million. The six-month bottom line for the same period resulted in a net loss of $0.84 million, a $10.0 million improvement for the same period last year.
Currently, Haivision trades at $5.20 per share for a market cap of $150.10 million.
With over 400 employees worldwide and 14 years of positive adjusted EBITDA, Haivision remains a strong performer in its sector and shows good potential for market growth. Please do your due diligence before making any investment decision.
