Bragg Gaming Group (BRAG.T) aims for U.K. i-gaming conquest in 2022

Bragg Gaming Group (BRAG.T) subsidiary Oryx Gaming added some casino brands operated by SkillOnNet to their platform today, making their presence known in the U.K market.

This deal with SkillOnNet is another set in a string of agreements that has seen Oryx making a concerted grab for more hold in the U.K.. i-gaming market after getting its supplier license from the gambling commission in November.

“We have hit the ground running in the U.K. and are thrilled to have partnered with a number of leading operators so swiftly after receiving our U.K. licence. This agreement with SkillOnNet for the distribution of our content across their many brands is testimony to the player appeal of our content in the U.K., which we expect will allow us to continuously grow our share,” said Chris Looney, chief commercial officer at Bragg.

Bragg is a gaming tech and content group, as well as the owner of business to business companies in the i-gaming industry. It’s been around since 2018 and has spread its operation across Europe and both North and Latin America, and is presently expanding into an international labour force with the global online gaming market.

In 2022, Oryx intends on expanding in the U.K as the market over there offers plenty of opportunity and growth potential. The total addressable market (TAM) for the U.K.’s online casino sector was USD$5.5 billion according to the H2 Gambling Capital in 2021. Bragg expects its expansion will increase its TAM six fold in 2022, to more than $18 billion, and the UK market has a big part to play in that. Specifically, one third.

Bragg expects its global market expansion initiatives will increase its TAM six-fold in 2022 to more than $18-billion (U.S.), of which the U.K. market will account for just under one-third.
