Will Bragg Gaming Group's (BRAG.T) acquisition spin them deeper into North American market

Will Bragg Gaming Group’s (BRAG.T) acquisition spin them deeper into North American market?

Bragg Gaming Group (BRAG.T) completed its acquisition of Spin Games in a $30 million stock and cash transaction today.

The acquisition brings Bragg another iGaming product angle and pushes Bragg ahead in the North American markets, expanding their third-party online casino games to meet the preferences of U.S. and Canadian markets, and then sell their popular European content.

“We are positioned to quickly grow our U.S. market presence over the next several months beginning with our iGaming content and supporting game optimization technologies. In addition, our proven player account management (PAM) platform which powers several leading iGaming and sports book brands in Europe, along with our full managed operational and marketing services allows us to offer a complete solution to online gambling operators of any size in currently regulated states and as additional states approve iGaming,” said Yaniv Spielberg, chief strategy officer for Bragg.

Bragg is an iGaming technology provider that offloads their games and content to businesses. It’s been around since 2018, and has since expanded to include operations in Europe, North America and Latin America, and anticipates being an international operator in the global iGaming market.

Their next step towards fulfilling this goal is in pushing out the next set in their stable of games, which include Egyptian Magic, Fairy Dust and Paradise Ticket, as well as games from partner studios, onto their remote gaming server (RGS). The first few states they’re servicing in Q3 20222 will be Connecticut, Michigan and New Jersey, with Pennsylvania coming shortly after.

“Combining our RGS, advanced player engagement tools, data analytics capabilities and our newest game content developed specifically to appeal to North American players, with Spin Games’ state gaming licenses and established integrations with online casino operators comprising the majority of the U.S. market significantly accelerates our entry into the North America iGaming market,” said Spielberg.

Bragg will reap the benefits of Spin Games content and tech as well as their market savvy and existing relationships with more than 30 North American customers. What’s probably better is that they’re also going to get Spin’s licenses. Their RGS and casino content are licensed and distributed in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Michigan, and are slated to go-live in Connecticut and British Columbia.

Spin also has a content portfolio of over 30 in-house developed games, including slots, video poker, action bingo, and keno.

Kent Young, former CEO for Spin, will take over as president of their American division and oversee the U.S. rollout.
