Interactive Games Technologies (BETS.C) retrofits BLITZPOOLS branding with cricket all-stars

Interactive Game Technologies (BETS.C) signed cricket stars Ishan Kishan, Rahul, Chahar, Shreyas Gopal and Wriddhiman Sahan to be the face of their brand today, according to a press release.

IGT hopes to draw the fanbase of these three cricket stars to their app, because that’s mostly how branding works. This group of cricket players will now become part of their digital and offline campaign for their BLITZPOOLS online fantasy platform.

“We are embarking on a new journey and through this exciting adventure, we aim to capture and captivate the minds and hearts of every Indian consumer involved in online gaming. Through this rebrand, we want to create an interactive user experience and strengthen the product in the Indian market,” said Vickram and Gaurav Assomull, the founders of BLITZPOOLS.

IGT provides online gaming products that blend skill-based games with games of chance. The company’s suite of products includes fantasy sports, quiz games, poker, rummy, sports better, social gaming and games of chance as part of its online casino.

Originally launched in 2018 as Livepools Private Limited, BLITZPOOLS has also reached out to celebrities and influencers with a total following of more than 215 million people. The company will reveal who these celebs and influencers are later. The recent rebrand and capital infusion gives players newer games to play, and also offers different cricket and football tournaments played at all levels, from domestic to international. The platform is available on Android, iOS and desktop.

On the technical side, the rebrand brings deposit and payout options, including a coin-based loyalty program wherein users will accrue increasing awards the longer they remain engaged with the app. These coins can be used to buy gift vouchers, meet and greet sessions, cashback, tickets for matches and more, including the opportunity to create your own closed personal pools with friends and win grand prizes to play cricket against the company’s new brand ambassadors.
