VRIC 2023 in review

Vancouver Resource Investor Conference brings together mineral explorers and the retail investment community. The event, known for its keynote speakers which include icons of resource exploration and finance, is second only to PDAC in Canada in terms of mining and investment.

Unfortunately the pandemic punched a hole in VRIC, like every other public gathering. Combine that with the economic challenges of late and what was once a vibrant conference into a relative graveyard. Last year was the first return to Vancouver’s west convention centre for VRIC, but the event seemed to lack the usual hope and optimism.

We didn’t know what to expect from Cambridge House-hosted conference this year, but 2023 stepped up to the plate. In this edition of Investor Roundtable, our Equity Guru crew breaks down the tenor of VRIC 2023, the participants and speakers and some of our favorite exhibitors.
