Cannabis expos abound to the point that they are almost becoming derivative and redundant. Events like the once mighty MJ Biz Con are even feeling the pinch as newer and more relevant conventions like Lift & Co’s Cannabis Expo are taking the spotlight.
Before full legalization in California, these conferences were a place for people to gather as a social movement to decry the stigma of cannabis, buy some Lemon Haze and forget about life for a while.
However, prohibition is over and rather than rallying together for political might to right a legislative wrong, it’s time to do business and that’s what Hall of Flowers is all about and Lifestyle Delivery Systems (LDS.C) is in the thick of it.
You won’t find potheads here wandering about looking for a funky bong, this is a business-to-business convention with approximately 1500 industry participants making deals, often right in their own booth.
Cannabis mavericks like Gary Vaynerchuk, CEO of VaynerMedia, Berner, rapper come cannabis king, and former NBA great and weed entrepreneur, Al Harrington, are lined up to speak to over 200 cannabis brand participants.
As part of this mix, LDS will be able to show off its CannaStrips line to an estimated 300-400 buyers and procurement managers from retail and distribution companies that HoF expects to wander through the event.
“The Hall of Flowers event is one of the best ways to expose multiple dispensaries and distributors to our product line at one location. Casey Fenwick, our President, will be at the event representing both CannaStripsTM, Rêveur, and white label products,” said LDS CEO, Brad Eckenweiler.
The company will have on-site vendors for sample sales and product information.
And the winner is…
LDS recently announced that its flagship CannaStrips line won first place for the best edible at Kushstock 7, a free music and cannabis expo held at Adelanto Stadium, California on Saturday, April 20, 2019 (420).
Approximately 10,000 people attended the festival and company execs were proud to exclaim that Kushstock was the company’s third sold-out event.
Admittedly, LDS has had its share of challenges bringing CannaStrips to the California market, but as Equity Guru’s own Chris Parry discovered in a recent podcast with Brad Eckenweiler, the company is ready and the CEO says that shareholders can expect positive action by the end of the quarter.
If Kushstock 7 is any indication of the company’s potential, Hall of Flowers could bloom into a big win for LDS, putting it on shelves across the state and across the country.
Shares edged up $0.01 to $0.57 per share by the end of trading.
LDS currently has 107,494,894 issued and outstanding shares with a market cap of $60.2 million.
