Draganfly Inc. (DPRO.C), an award-winning, industry-leading drone solutions and system developer, announced today that the Company’s Vital Intelligence Smart Vital Kiosks (“Smart Kiosks”) have been implemented in Perry County, Alabama by the Perry County School District. For context, Perry County Schools is a public school district serving students from pre-kindergarten to Grade 12.

Draganfly first revealed the Company’s Vital Intelligence Smart Vital Kiosk earlier this year on January 5, 2022. The Smart Kiosks are powered by Draganfly’s AI Vital Intelligence platform, which leverages RGB camera systems to measure human vital signs in real-time. To provide some background, the Company entered into an asset purchase agreement to acquire all assets from Vital Intelligence Inc. for $13.8 million on March 25, 2021.

Vital Intelligence’s technology was built to measure vitals and detect symptoms across large groups of people at a distance, enabling event venues, schools, offices, and other gathering spots to re-open safely during the pandemic. By utilizing Draganfly’s Vital Intelligence platform, the Company’s Smart Kiosks are able to screen, with voluntary consent, the following in a matter of seconds:

respiratory rate
oxygen saturation (SpO2)

The Company’s Smart Kiosk also features accessories like QR and IR code readers, which can be incorporated to provide seamless integration with vaccine passports, security badges, and other ticketing systems. Furthermore, Draganfly’s Smart Kiosks utilize 22″ LCD screens that are compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and its Forward-Looking InfraRed (FLIR) thermal camera adheres to guidelines set by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
