Cresco Labs (CL.C) launched its premium craft brand, FloraCal Farms, in all Illinois Sunnyside stores ahead of the 420 annual cannabis celebration.
Originally from Sonoma County, FloraCal Farms features unique genetics in terms of curated flower, rosin vape and formats. This launch in Illinois rounds out the company’s portfolio in the state. Other available brands include Cresco, High Supply, Good News, Mindy’s, Wonder Wellness and Remedi.
“FloraCal Farms’ vision is to deliver a first-class experience to sophisticated cannabis consumers who value unique terpene profiles, flower structure and all the fruits of artisanal cultivation and processing methods. We plan to launch FloraCal Farms in other markets throughout the year to reach the ultra-premium shopper. Along with our Cresco and High Supply brands, our uniquely designed portfolio architecture of tiered inhalable offerings and pricing will allow us to offer a variety of value propositions for consumers and to compete incredibly well in the marketplace,” said Charles Bachtell, CEO and co-founder of Cresco Labs.
Originally from Sonoma County, California, FloraCal Farms is still run by its original owners, who oversee commercial sales and cultivation. They maintain quality through a rigorous process beginning with hundreds of plants from which a few are hand-selected to become flower, vapes and concentrates.
Hand-trimmed flower, live rosin vape cartridges, and live rosin badder concentrates are all on shelves today in time for 420 with more anticipated throughout the year.
