Fansunite Entertainment (FANS.C) submitted an application to the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) to to become a registered gaming supplier and manufacturer in Ontario.
This comes shortly after iGaming Ontario, a subsidiary of the AGCO, announced their newest regulated online gaming market going live in April. The application is presently under review by the AGCO.
“The launch of an on-line gaming market in Ontario represents a major milestone for the entire Canadian gaming industry. We have been proponents of the legalization of on-line betting across Canada and we are pleased to see the significant progress made over a short period of time. We will continue to work with the AGCO in completing our application process in order to capitalize on this new exciting opportunity,” said Scott Burton, chief executive officer of Fansunite.
Fansunite Entertainment is a global sports and entertainment company in the regulated and lawful online gaming and other related products sector. They have their own i-gaming platform with a sports and e-sports focus to lure in the next generation of online bettors and casino players. That’s why getting into this market early is such a boon.
The intention behind the on-line gaming market in Ontario is to protect consumers and give them a better selection of i-gaming products. Operators need to register with the AGCO and sign into an agreement with iGO to be allowed to offer games in Ontario as an agent of the province when the market launches.
