Currencyworks (CWRK.C) revealed its non-fungible token collector line, called the Barrett-Jackson Houston 2021 Collector Series today.
The new set of collectibles is a follow-up to their Las Vegas 2021 Collector Series, which went out to NFT buyers late last year. The Houston Series will include three pack drops starting February 8, 2022, with “The Premier Pack.”
“This is another amazing opportunity for digital collectors to pick up new and exclusive Motoclub content. The Las Vegas series was incredibly well received, and the Houston series is even better, with some awesome content that starts right here with the Premier Pack,” said Cameron Chell, Currencywork’s executive chairman.
This is the kind of interest that NFTs are presently involved in. These people know they’re not actually buying the car when they pick up one of these NFTs. They know, or at least we can hope they know, they’re buying a digital signature that connects to an image of the car on a blockchain. A little later on I’m going to save you all hundreds if not thousands of dollars and do a google image search for each car.
Enjoy!
Each premier pack contains NFTs based on sales highlights from Barrett-Jackson’s Houston Auction, held in September of last year.
The four vehicles featuring as NFTs are:
1962 Chevrolet Corvette Custom Convertible
1972 Pontiac Firebird Trans AM Custom Coupe “Code Red”
2021 Dodge Challenger SRT Super Stock
1993 Toyota Supra Premier Edition Twin Turbo
The sales of these cars come as three high res digital images and one video. Each pack includes four random NFTs from the premier tier, making the grand total 16 NFTs to be collected. The premier pack will be released at noon, February 8, 2022, and will be priced at $25 per pack.
So theoretically by posting the images above, we might have just saved you some dough.
You’re welcome.
