Sparc AI (SPAI.C) completes development of drone advanced target acquisition system

We’ve been talking about Sparc AI Inc. (SPAI.C) for a few months now, and the market has been kind to the company in that time ass it fleshes out its technology built around allowing drones to acquire distant targets without the use of lasers, satellite, lidar, radar, image recognition, or GPS.

To that end, the company today announced it has finalized the development of Version 2.0 of its advanced target acquisition system and has now moved into the testing phase.

The new Version 2.0 delivers improved features aimed at accurately identifying target locations in complex and difficult terrains. These advancements are set to benefit key sectors, including search and rescue operations, border security, defense, and overall situational awareness. The enhanced system is designed to locate hidden or low-visibility targets in environments such as ridges, hillsides, coastal cliffs, and mountainous areas, operating without ‘giveaway’ signals that betray the location of the technology in question.

Sparc AI is further positioning itself within the US $13.59 billion target acquisition market (according to Statview Research), distinguishing itself from competitors that rely on expensive, ground-based hardware solutions like Elbit Systems’ Hattorix.

Instead, Sparc AI has developed a lightweight software solution that integrates with drones, offering a cost-effective and rapidly deployable solution for efficient target acquisition across large and difficult terrains.

In addition, the company has introduced a new billing platform designed to streamline the management of recurring payments for its software. This system will handle billing cycles, licensing, and payments on a per-drone basis while also supporting resellers and channel partners.

Sparc is set to present the results from testing Version 2.0 in the coming weeks and now moves on to active hardware testing.

The company has enjoyed a charmed run on the markets, moving the stock up fro a 52-week low of $0.07 to a current price of $0.25, bringing a very reasonable $3.326 million market cap.
