Curaleaf Holding (CURA.C) intends on expanding their line of Select Oil products to better service the Ohio medical market with 11 million residents and presently 131,654 medical cardholders, beginning with its Select Elite cannabis oil cartridges, according to a press release.
There are 52 licensed dispensaries operating in Ohio, with 131,654 registered patients and 14,775 registered caregivers, and each of those patients have doctors who could recommend medical cannabis to treat any of the 21 qualifying medical conditions under Ohio law, according to the patient and caregiver report published by The State of Ohio Board of Pharmacy in August.
“We have grown to become the largest cannabis operator in the U.S. by listening to the needs of our patients and customers and delivering products that fundamentally change lives for the better. We are excited to extend this commitment to Ohio by offering them Select products, which are known to undergo the most stringent and progressive oil testing in the industry,” according to Joe Bayern, president at Curaleaf.
Curaleaf acquired Select in February of 2020, and has spread it to 14 states so far. Their products will be available at dispensaries across the state, beginning with the company’s best selling product, Select Elite cartridges, which delivers activated broad-spectrum oil with smooth vapour. The brand anticipates getting more of its products on Ohio shelves soon, including its CBD:THC Ratio Drops, which they’ll be dropping on October 19. Select Ratio Drops come in four different varieties – 1:1, 18:1, 4:1 and straight up THC – allowing the customer to have a controlled and customizable cannabis experience.
