Endocanna Health, a subsidiary of Heritage Cannabis (CANN.C), has agreed to manufacture and license its patent-pending Endocannabinoid DNA Test Kits to Empower Clinics (CBDT.C).

Endocanna’s kits provide personalized data for each customer on how CBD and other cannabinoids will interact with their bodies based on the makeup of their DNA, and the technology may potentially allow the company to provide patients with science-backed cannabis product recommendations.
We understand a lot more than we did five years ago about how cannabis interacts with the body, and the recently expanded database of genetic markers now allows for a thorough review of potential products which may be used to address the needs of patients.

Empower will use the Endocanna kits at its corporate-owned medical clinics, serving over 165,000 patients in Oregon, Arizona, Washington State and Nevada. The company will also include the kits in the Sun Valley Health franchise program, and has commenced its rollout in the United States.
EndoDNA testing packages are presently only available in the United States, but will soon be introduced to Canada and other cannabis-friendly countries.
Empowered Buildout
In other news, Empower Clinics’ subsidiary Empower Healthcare received its hemp-handlers license and a food establishment plan permit from the Oregon Department of Agriculture today.
This licenses will allow the company to commence their buildout and operate their new 5,000-square-foot extraction facility in Sandy, Oregon, as well as the manufacture and production of edible products once the facility is built.
“The ODA has strict requirements regarding the award of a hemp-handlers license and/or a Food Establishment permit, to ensure that extraction operators and CBD product producers operate to the highest of standards. The award of the hemp-handlers license is a significant milestone for our company as we continue on our path of growth and vertical integration,” said Steven McAuley, Empower’s Chairman & CEO.
Once the license is acquired, Empower and Pathangay Architects will submit permit applications for the buildout. They already have preliminary security systems and IT networks, and the company expects draft architecture drawings to be finished in Q3 2019.
