Invictus MD Technologies (IMH.C) moved to further strengthen market awareness when the company announced earlier in the week that it had appointed Larry Heinzlmeir as Vice President of Marketing and Communication.
According to the news release, Heinzlmeir, a thought leader in the world of digital marketing, online platforms and brand strategy, will report to Chairman and CEO, Dan Kriznic.
Heinzlmeir is a 25+ year veteran with executive level experience in sales and marketing. He’s also worked with some of the largest for-profit companies in the educational sector including DeVry University, a division of the DeVry Education Group, a multi-billion-dollar for-profit education aggregator based out of the United States.
Kriznic commented on the appointment, “Larry is a strategic appointment for us as we focus our resources on acquiring Licensed Producers in Canada and providing ancillary products in the Access to Cannabis for Medical Purposes Regulations (“ACMPR”), cannabis market. He encompasses everything we are looking for in a senior marketing and communications leader and I’m thrilled to have him on our team.”
Heinzlmeir will be able to scale with Invictus’ growth, just before his arrival, he was the Vice President of Marketing and CMO for a large privately-held growth-oriented organization where he handled an annual marketing budget in excess of $24 million.
Not only was he able to manage the cash, he was able to achieve an eight-fold increase in revenue – an all-important ingredient if a company intends to grow like Invictus has set out to do.
Heinzlmeir concluded, “I am profoundly honored to join Invictus MD. I have enormous respect for the team and hope I can contribute to the company’s continued success and leadership.
