The Canadian cannabis market has long-since reached saturation, and stock charts across the sector have been testament to the downturn since March of this year.
But although Canadian producers are grappling with over-supply and largely underwhelmed consumers, the still-developing Latin American market continues to present an opportunity for investors interested in a different market than the flower-dominant markets of Canada and the U.S.
We spoke with Michael Nistorescu, CEO of the soon-to-be-public CannaVerde Pharma, to discuss the slightly-different cannabis markets of Latin America, what constitutes a responsible valuation and how the ‘next cannabis’ may have been under our noses all along.
