Tilt Holdings (TILT.NEO) gets across the goal line with Highsman

Tilt Holdings (TILT.NEO) announced a manufacturing and distribution deal with Highsman, a cannabis lifestyle brand spearheaded by former NFL running back, Ricky Williams.

Highsman was originally launched in November 2021 with three different product offerings, including Pregame, which is a collection of sativas; Halftime, which is a balanced collection of hybrids, and finally, Postgame, which is a recovery focused collection of indicas. Tilt will be launching Highsman in both Massachusetts and Pennsylvania in early September in time for the 2022 football season.

“Authenticity and unique brand architecture are two of the most important considerations for TILT when evaluating potential brand partnerships. You would be hard-pressed to find a group more equipped to meet those criteria than Ricky and the team he has assembled at Highsman. As the stigma around cannabis continues to fade within the general population, most athletes are still playing in organizations slow to allow the use of cannabis for wellness and recovery,” said Gary Santo, CEO of TILT Holdings.

Tilt is in the business of helping cannabis businesses build out brands. They brand building services using a portfolio companies stretching across technology, hardware and production, and geographically across 37 states in the United States, as well as Canada, Israel, South America and the European Union.

Highsman will be the first of Tilt’s brand partners to be focused on sports fans and non-pro athletes. The Highsman brand will make an appearance in its stores and be offered throughout Massachusetts and Pennsylvania through Tilt’s wholesale channels.
