Organic Garage (OG.V) Looking Sharp as Cheddar, Partners with Cheese Boutique

Organic Garage (OG.V) announced today that it has added Toronto based Cheese Boutique, to its roster of Hand-Picked Partners. Cheese Boutique will initially launch at the Company’s Junction store immediately, followed by all remaining locations shortly after.

“I am pleased to extend our partnership with Cheese Boutique and continue the growth of our Hand-Picked Partner Program…Cheese Boutique’s knowledge and the curation of the selection offered in Organic Garage ensures a unique shopping experience for our customers and further differentiates Organic Garage from our competition,” said Organic Garage CEO Matt Lurie.

Organic Garage’s partnership with yet another cheese-related company is no strange coincidence. The Company recently acquired the Future of Cheese, a Canadian plant-based cheese innovator, on March 4, 2021. Similar to the Future of Cheese, Cheese Boutique is a gourmet food emporium owned and operated by the Pristine family since 1970. The company is focused on providing an array of curated foods including cheeses, meats, and even Meyer lemons. With this in mind, Afrim Pristine, Cheese Boutique’s master cheese maker, also co-founded the Future of Cheese.

For context, Organic Garage’s Hand-Picked Partners Program is intended to fill category voids like prepared foods and specialty foods like meats, cheeses, breads and bakery products. Organic Garage’s latest partnership with Cheese Boutique will enable the Company to sell a diverse variety of cured meats and cheeses as well as dried goods to customers via small-footprint, in-store kiosks.

“This partnership with Organic Garage is a natural one for us; it’s a fun place to shop and fits with the curated and exciting environment we’ve created for customers at our own store…I am excited to share the joy that cheese brings me and showcase some of the world’s most amazing cheeses to the customers of Organic Garage,” stated Cheese Boutique’s maître fromager, Afrim Pristine.

In addition to driving profitability to the bottom line, Organic Garage’s Hand-Picked Partner Program also brings in customer traffic with a selection of products unique to the Company. With that being said, the program represents an integral part of Organic Garage’s operations. In the future, Organic Garage intends to increase its current “A to Z” organic and natural products selection with future additions of specialty breads, prepared foods as well as plants and flowers.

Organic Garage’s share price opened at $0.45 today, up from a previous close of $0.425. Shares have since returned to $0.425 and continue to trade at this price as of 10:29AM ET. This indicates that there has been no significant change following the news.
