Cronos Group’s (CRON.T) entire collection of Happy Dance cannabidiol (CBD) products are now available at over 550 Ulta Beauty locations and online at Ulta’s website.

“My goal in creating Happy Dance was to make trusted, high-quality, everyday CBD skin care products more widely available to busy moms and consumers everywhere at a price that wouldn’t break the bank…Ulta Beauty is the perfect partner to make that dream a reality. I am grateful for their approach to beauty and their belief in our vision to rethink self-care,” said Ms. Bell

Happy Dance was co-founded by Kristen Bell, a popular actress and New York-Times best-selling author. If the name doesn’t ring any bells, she voiced Anna in everyone’s favorite Disney movie Frozen and starred in the unforgettable Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Credits aside, Ms. Bell’s Happy Dance products are advertised as being easy-to-use, clean, vegan, cruelty-free, and derived from hemp.

Happy Dance CBD bath and body products include:

  • All-over CBD Body Butter ($30)
  • Head-to-Toe CBD Coconut Melt ($25)
  • Stress Away CBD Bath Bomb ($15)

Cronos Group envisions the Happy Dance brand as the uplifting, colorful embodiment of what Kristen Bell would look like on your vanity. Although the image of a tiny Kristen Bell running around anyone’s vanity is slightly terrifying, the Company sincerely hopes to transform the notion of self-care by extending beyond the brand itself. That being said, one per cent of Happy Dance profits will benefit A New Way of Life Reentry Project. The project was founded by Susan Burton and is a black-owned, Los Angeles-based organization. Ms. Burton’s project is intended to provide a variety of services to aid women in rebuilding their lives after prison.

“We are thrilled to welcome Happy Dance into the Ulta Beauty family to offer trusted, refreshingly relevant CBD products to our guests…we admire Kristen’s commitment to every aspect of the brand — from the clean ingredients to the meaningful purpose. Her approach is best in class to engage, educate and entertain beauty enthusiasts, and we look forward to guests embracing the brand on-line and in our stores,” said Monica Arnaudo, chief merchandising officer, Ulta Beauty

In addition to promoting a positive message and contributing to the betterment of women’s lives, Happy Dance products undergo extensive third party testing. Testing ensures products are free of heavy metals, contaminants, residual solvents and pesticides. Furthermore, products are evaluated through clinical testing according to industry standard and customers have access to product certificates. Its clear that a lot of effort went into Happy Dance products and the sincerity behind the brand shows.

Cronos Group’s stock opened at $13.05 and reached a high of $13.61. The stock’s price closed at $13.35.
