Harborside (HBOR.C) offers a cool Sunday afternoon chill with a dash of social responsibility

Harborside Farms and Key, two of Harborside’s (HBOR.C) award-winning in-house brands, have introduced new products for the California market, according to a press release.

In addition to the new brands, they’ve also launched a new initiative called “Cannabis Is” which is aimed at social awareness and consciousness raising to the role diversity, wellness, sustainability and other topics play in the cannabis industry. We’ll get to that a little later.

We’re thrilled to be providing a venue to showcase these incredible individuals who are generating such a positive impact for the cannabis community,” said Peter Bilodeau, chairman and interim chief executive officer for Harborside.

Harborside Farms and Key have been around since 2006 offering their award-winning flower, concentrates and edibles with flower grown in Salinas, California.

Key’s additions to their product lineup include a pack of seven half-milligram strain of specific prerolls they call ‘Key Mini Pre-Rolls,’ The full-flower minis are sustainably grown in Harborside’s greenhouses. Soon, the company will offer a new SKU called ‘Limited Skeleton Key Mini-Prerolls’ which blend G4 Og and Gelato 33 packed in the same seven half-gram mini pre-rolls as the Key minis.

Here’s the descriptor they offered in the press release:

“This special indica-dominant blend promotes deep relaxation with euphoric effects and boasts a unique flavor profile of sweet citrus, mango, and a hint of spice.”

So that sounds like a chill way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Cannabis Is, the company’s social initiative we hinted at earlier, is a campaign series that seeks to raise social awareness of Harborside’s mission and values through showcasing authentic stories and testimonials of real cannabis businesses, customers and patients in order to increase community and customer engagement. The series’s first campaign – ‘Cannabis Is: Diversity’ started in September.
