Score Media and Gaming (SCR.V) agreement with major league baseball swings for the fences

Score Media and Gaming’s (SCR.V) latest multiyear agreement has them becoming an authorized gaming operator of Major League Baseball (MLB), including access to official MLB data, league logos and marks for theScore Bet, their mobile sports betting app.

Presently operating in New Jersey, the app will launch in both Indiana and Colorado in the coming months, naturally subject to acquiring all of the relevant licensing and approvals. TheScore Bet is available for both iOS and Android phones, and includes theScore’s sports news and scores application to provide an all-in-one experience for media and gaming.

“We’re thrilled to work with MLB, helping bring our fans an even deeper experience as we begin our multistate expansion of theScore Bet. We know our fans are eager to watch and bet on America’s pastime, and we’ll be ready to bring them a best-in-class integrated media and betting offering when play resumes and for seasons to come,” said John Levy, founder and chief executive officer of theScore.

The agreement also includes a collaboration by theScore and MLB to integrate best-in-class practices to protect the integrity of MLB games.

“Working with theScore is another important step in offering baseball fans a variety of unique gaming options to continually engage with our sport. theScore is an innovative company that shares our vision for developing fandom with new, creative gaming opportunities on a variety of platforms,” said Kenny Gersh, MLB executive vice-president, gaming and new business ventures.
