Tinley (TNY.C) ships Hemplify to premier southern Californian grocery chain

Tinley Beverage Company (TNY.C) significantly increased its market presence when the company announced yesterday that it had made an initial shipment of both flavors of its Hemplify hemp stalk extract elixirs to 10 Bristol Farms stores in Los Angeles and Orange County.

This milestone will see Tinley’s Hemplify products in the functional beverage and/or fresh-pressed juice sections at the aforementioned stores.

According to the news release, not only does Bristol Farms operate 10 locations in Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego and Palm Desert, but there are an additional three stores under the Lazy Acre banner.

Bristol Farms, a recipient of numerous awards, was also rated number one in overall quality and service by a Zagat’s marketplace survey.

Tinley Beverage Company will conduct in-store demos in all ten locations several times throughout the year.

Bristol Farms’ Category Manager, Roger Arechiga, commented, “We constantly strive to uncover the latest product trends for our consumers, and Hemplify represents a unique entry into the hemp extract category. Our consumers are increasingly requesting vegan, whole-body vitality supplements, and Hemplify makes such ingredients available in a delicious, functional drink format.”

Jeff Maser, Tinley CEO, put forward his thoughts on the event, “This marks our first corporate-level, chain listing, and our second foray into the high-volume, premium grocery channel. Premium grocery, along with convenience stores and specialty shops like smoke shops and dispensaries, represent our three-pronged bricks-and-mortar channel strategy. We’re delighted to be working with the Bristol Farms team.”

Tinley’s Hemplify is a line of fruit-flavoured, sugar-free, vegan, drinkable supplements that contain hemp stalk extract.

Hemplify has 9-12X the potassium of a sports drink. It’s also loaded with terpenes and other phytoconstituents. Phytoconstituents are naturally occurring chemicals in plants. Thought I should explain that term, since I had to look it up.

Hemplify products also contain 9 different vitamins, including 100% DV of vitamin C, B12, and D, as well as 200mg of Omega 3.

Tinley utilizes patented technology to elevate absorption in the bloodstream, ensure shelf stability and mask hemp oil’s taste.

This is a key time for Tinley in terms of establishing a significant presence in a much-broader grocery chain market.

I haven’t had any Hemplify yet, so can’t vouch for it. So, I look forward to seeing how well it is received by Bristol Farms patrons.

  1. Tropical Punch is absolutely delicious. Vastly superior to the flavour of any of these other so-called energy or health drinks. I’ve gone through 2 in a day, easily. If you have a soda stream, it actually makes it even more tasty and makes the bottle last a bit longer.
